ABOUT ME
As a graduate of Southern Illinois University of Edwardsville, I have a bachelor’s degree in Performance Arts/Liberal Theater Studies and 20 years of classroom teaching experience.
At the present time, I am a teaching artist at the Center of Creative Arts (COCA) in St. Louis, MO, where I teach the fundamentals of drama, vocal music, storytelling and visual arts. Along with my strong commitment to the Center of Creative Arts, I also instruct art therapy sessions for the Good Journey Development Foundation of St. Louis for troubled and under-privileged youth. It is my goal as a compassionate, enthusiastic and intelligent teacher to combine my range of teaching experience with my theatrical abilities to guide children on the path of positive creative expression.
